Muse Piano

A brand new baby grand piano was supplied by the client together with an electronic keyboard with the instruction to fit the electronic keyboard in the baby grand and a few other bits as well. We started by machining out the inside of the baby grand to make way for the modifications and built a platform on the sound board to house LED up lighters. The lid was remade using 25mm thick Perspex to the same design ads the original lid.

The electronic keyboard was stripped and inserted where the old keyboard had been and the electronic pedal mounted under the piano and connected to the old foot pedals via connecting rods.

We then made a trolley system to move the whole finished project on and off stage during the show.
