Plastic Molds

The requirement was for two different moulds too produce a repeatable pattern mould for plaster work. The moulds were machined using a 135 deg and 120 deg 'V' Cutter into 0.7Kg/m3 model board.

This produced a finish that could be polished and used directly as a mould to produce the repeating pattern.

This type of mould has previously been done in plastic / acrylic, but this provided a much better result with any minor changes being able to be made by hand using a file or knife.
