Fineline own and operate one 5-axis and two 3-axis routers.

5-axis router

Acquired in 2006, Fineline now operate a Multiax very large scale 5-axis router. We are able to produce parts of a finished size in a single piece up to 16' x 8' x 4'. This router will allow us to machine materials up to and including a hardness the equivalent of aluminium. This allows us to be a market leader in large scale parts without being limited to using foams.

Whether it's large-scale prototyping, theming or modeling you're after, we are confident that with the right tools we can accurately produce the right results first time. And due to using automated equipment, everything we produce is accurately repeatable.

3-axis routers

Using a pair of Gerber Sabre 408s, Fineline are able to turn most jobs around in half the time you would expect. These routers have a maximum machinable area of approx. 2590mm x 1350mm, but we are able to work around this by means of pull-throughs. We are able to machine most materials on these machines with the exception of steel.
