Motorola 'Bar Moto' Chevrolet

Wave Marketing & Communications Ltd. asked us to manufacture an over-sized car for behind an outdoor bar in Hawaii. They wanted it done in the style of an old chevrolet.

Fineline found a 3D model of a Chevrolet Bel Air and oversized it to 16' wide. Only the front portion of the car was needed for the bar.

The car was cut from polystyrene using our 5-axis router then coated in a water-based high build primer. This was then filled and prepared using car body filler before being sprayed up using standard car paints. Working headlights and sidelights were fitted once the spray job was complete.

The chevy was designed to fit inside air freight containers so needed to be built in parts. Fineline were given just 2 weeks to complete this project.
