Take That Illuminated Hoops for Dancing on Ice Television Show on ITV

Fineline were commissioned by Kim Gavin, Take That's choreographer to manufacture some illuminated red hula hoops to be used on ITV's Dancing On Ice television show. Our brief stated that the hoops needed to be rechargeable with a 30 minute duration, bright and red.

We sourced some hula hoops that would accept strings of red leds to be inserted around their length. Led strings were made up using approximately 100 leds per hoop and then inserted into the hoop, with a rechargeable battery system fitted. A switch system was also fitted to allow for a synchronised illumination of the hoops.
