The searchilghts have been converted from their original carbon arc light source to an up-to-date 4kW Xenon light source, allowing for a brighter output and greater reliability.

These units are the original article, being plated back to their date of manufacture, some as far back as 1937. The bearings, tracks and mechanics are all still in good working order.
